Clue Harry Potter

Harry Potter Clue
We tried to find this game for the Holidays, but missed it and it sold out. Had to order online. Glad we did though, as it is a fun game, esp w/ the Harry Potter characters. Easy to jump in if you know other Clue games. We like it. Have only had time to play once so far, but will play more soon.

Interesting Twist, but Broken Board
In short, I bought the game for the interesting twist of moving secret passages.
The added rooms make the game feel a little harder/longer.
Could use more "help" cards along the lines of automatic 12 die roll or pass through doors
(ie, too many "save" cards that do nothing interesting).
Dark Mark cards don't seem to bad of an addition, as the new "Clue" game can potentially eliminate players with the clock cards.
Disappointed that the "weapons" and suspects are just cardboard disks...
MOST IMPORTANTLY, I am disappointed that I have to exchange the game since there are random holes in the boards hallways, instead of there targeted spots to block of the doors. We didn't catch on for a while and thought some hallway spaces (and bookcases, walls, etc) were impassable. Turns out the board was rotated, and the cut-out stencil didn't match appropriately.

Would probably continue playing this version over the original Clue!

Another great Harry Potter activity!
We love Harry Potter and we love board games. Clue is taken to a new level with additional game play all with Harry Potter characters, spells, and story line. Highly recommend for all Harry Potter or Clue fans!

YAY!!
I started asking for this around Halloween for a Christmas present. Sadly gougers were upping their selling prices then. Spending on a board game just isn't doable for us so I kind of forgot about it. Then my wedding anniversary came up in February and my husband surprised me with it. I nearly peed my pants with joy. :D The basic game is pretty much the same but the addition of house points and help cards and the dark mark made the game enjoyable for my whole family. I do agree that an addition of color coding the rooms would have been helpful, but honestly it didn't detract from the game that much.

I am really enjoying the game and am very glad that I got it :D

Potter Fans like the idea but game is complicated
Cool idea to have a Harry Potter clue but the game gets so complicated with it's different variations on the classic Clue game that most of the time is checking the rules instead of playing. The teen girls got bored and quit playing after about 10 minutes of rule reviewing.
