What can I say, my son asked for it for his birthday and LOVED it when he opened it. Still intact despite multiple boys/friends attacking them. First toy he plays with daily, one or more goes on every car ride and they end up in my washing machine repeatedly as they are stuffed in his pockets... "Educational?" No but did not expect it to be, although my son suffered through the "gun safety lecture" happily when he opened it.

This boxset is well displayed with an"ARTIC-LOOKING"background, and each piece is detailed nicely with their own separate filecard&stand with the corresponding names per stand."PLEASE BE WARNED!"this boxset has small-parts which I wouldn't recommend for small children-"WARNING!" All the figures come with their own weapons,artillery&equipment as follows: (ARTIC TELEVIPER)'s back-pack with useable walki-talky that's inside the B-pack(antenna's moveable)with a useable knife on the side,a pistol&Mchn-gun, and computer that has it's own stand. (ARTIC-VIPER&HEAVY-WPNS.VIPER) both these figures come with an assortment of weapons,the"articviper"with a B-pack&Mchn-guns. The HEAVY-WPNStrooper's has the MK-Machine-gun with tripod & a strap of "reload"bullets that you attach to the side o'the Mchn.gun,mortar launcher&B-pack. This figr.also has a AK Mchn.gun to use(JUST IN CASE!..;) (SCRAP-IRON)unlike the 80's orig.toyline this one ain't as colorful(orig.was blue&red.) This one comes with "SCRAP-IRON's"signature missile-launchers with handheld remote, also he has a gun which he can holster it on his side."VERYNICE" (SNOW SERPENT'S)Now these are where they stuck to the"ORIGINALS"looks wise. Their's"POLAR HEAVY-WPNS SPCLST" a"POLAR SPCLST"and"POLAR ASSAULT OFFCR"all these are SOO nicely detailed&poseable(wirst,chest&ankles can move)that you can make any stance and it'll hold. All the SNOW SERPENT's come with basically the same equipment from B-packs,snowshoes to mortar-lnchrs, the Mchn.guns do differ,as for the"HVY-WPNS SPCLST"he has a bazooka/rocket lnchr, which you can place the missile in the launcher, and it can be holstered on his B-pack. I could"GO ON&ON"but if you're a GIJOE FAN or COLLECTOR this is for you. I GOT ME 2SETS! AND NOW YOU KNOW..COBRAAA
