Wonderful Pony!
I bought this pony for my 6 year old and she absolutely adores it! The motor everyone is commenting about is not that loud and it doesn't take away from the charm this toy has. It really does act like a real pony! I bought mine off EBay for [...], it is in great condition and worth every penny. Would I pay full price for a new one? Well no because I don't have [...] laying around to buy a fake pony but if you have the money to spend I think it's worth it.

Wish it walked...
My daughter got this horse for Christmas... personally I think its a bit creepy.. but she loves it!!! Wish it would walk though... I think she thinks its broken... lol.. Otherwise, besides being a bit awkward to place in a home... its very cool for kids! They all love it!
Smores is my daughters new best friend
My daughter begged for Smores for almost a year and we surprised her with it last Christmas. She is still on love with her, she talks about her to strangers we meet and can't wait to get home to her after school. Everyday Smores has a new accessory and a new adventure. My daughter and smores will be rounding up stuffed animals one day and then the next she will be a circus horse with a hat. She has brought my daughters imagination to a all time high. I would not say this toy has an educational edge but it encourages the imagination play. I only gave three stars on durability because the neck is not as strong as I would like it to be. With my daughter and now son playing and climbing on the horse daily it is not broken but just she just seems like her head flops sideways a little more than it used to. I am sure that is due in part by our Smores wearing a miniature horse halter and lead rope...I can only imagine my daughter trying to "lead" her. I know the price is high but I would buy this for her again in a heartbeat. This is without a doubt her favorite toy and one I hope she looks back on her childhood fondly. My daughter is now 4 and an avid horse lover. I would recommend this one to anyone who has a horse lover in their life but can not afford to get them the real horse they want so badly.
What a great friend.
I purchase this toy for my sister last Christmas. The first one died after about three months, and Hasbro was not as "on top of it" as I would have hoped. It took another 2.5 months to get a replacement, as it had apparently developed a short in the connection between the head and the body. This is an expected risk with electronic toys, however, so I don't think an occasional malfunction represents the sum of the toy. The second one is great. My sister is bed ridden, so she cannot "play" on it, however some of her little friends do and they love it too. You could almost believe it knows when she talks to it...it responds to sound and looks over at her. It truly is an amazing invention. Smores is a non-mobile, fun, pretend friend. If you have a horse lover in the house with a great imagination, he fills the gap between pretend and having your own little horse. And, although made for children, I bought my full grown daughter a Kota this year...she has always loved stuffed animals and she went nuts over her baby dino. They are fun. If you are looking for educational, advanced pleo type robotics, a stand alone replacement for the real thing, or just for the "bigger must be better" concept, you will probably not be impressed. But for young and old who love pretend and magic, Smores does half the work for you. What a wonderful little friend.
