Great Star Wars Vehicle
I just found this at Walmart on clearance for . I couldn't pass that up. All the electronic features and missles are great. My son loves this. I wish I had more troopers for him to play with. As far as the leg issue. My son put them on and when I came back I noticed they would fall off. Then I read the directions and each leg has the proper position inscribed on the inside. I checked this and they were all wrong. So I put them in the right position and each one snapped in place. No problems since. It has only been a day though. Anyway if you can get it, esp. on clearance, it is a must have.
Improved AT-TE?
I had reservations about ordering two of these for my boys (7 and 9) after reading the poor reviews here, but decided to try anyway. After some struggles getting the thing put together - reading the instructions on this one is key - it seems to be working fine. We initially had some of the legs in the wrong sockets, and they kept falling off. Once we got everything in the correct spots it is quite sturdy and so far has stood up well to an hour of play, and my guys are not easy on toys.
Not what we expected!
My Son bought this with his own money. He was very excited when we got home, but the joy quickly faded when the legs started falling off and the lights did not work. Also, only comes with one clone and it is very pricy to buy additional ones.
Fun Toy, Bad Design
We have had this thing for about a year now and my 6 year old likes it as long as the legs stay on, which is not very long. I know there are "cheap and easy" solutions for fixing the legs, but should I really need to take the time to fix a toy I paid $[...]+ to buy? I suggest avoiding this one and get the Turbo Tank.
the boys love it, but I am frustrated
My kids received this At-Te for Christmas. They love it, but they are always hollaring for mom to fix it. Every time I fix one leg another leg falls off. I am to the point I can't stand when the boys get that toy out. I am not impressed by any means! I will try the
pencil trick. Anything to save a toy, especially a toy the boys dearly love! Thank You!!
