My son is 24lbs and I have neck and lower back injuries. I can carry my son in comfort for 2 hours in the carrier. I really like the closeness obtained by the position in the front.The back is awkward for me, but great when there are two of you to place and keep an eye on the little one in the back. Although, I know my friend uses this position to do the housework and loves her carrier too - 5 month old.
I have used several others and lasted about 15 minutes with back pain or digging weight into the shoulders. This carrier distributes the weight....you do get a work out...it's 24lbs I am carrying, but comfortable. My friend used it for her 2 month baby and loved it also. The baby sat up higher than other carriers.
It worked perfectly for a party, were I did not want lots of hands all over him. He is also not walking so got a great view without getting bored and then dropped off to sleep. It will work perfectly for travelling through airports, keeping your child safe and close. You can go from standing to sitting in the front position really easily so great for getting on and off moving transport like buses and trains.
Easy to add a blanket around baby in cold weather and tuck in around straps. You and the baby will stay toasty. Yet cool enough for FL hot days.
