Munchkin Jelly Bean Reversible Sling S/M

This sling was a gift from one of my co-workers. i was hesitant to use it at first but one day when my baby was really fussy i tried it out. as soon as i started moving around with her in it she settled down and fell asleep. i now use it when we go out shopping together. i also find it helpful because in public it keeps strangers who love to touch babies at bay since she is so close to me they would be invading my personal space if they touched the baby.
it is sometimes difficult to get my baby in and out but i think that is more because i need more practice. the picture on the instruction manual makes it look much easier than it actually is. but once she is in it comfortably it is worth it.

Great product, I bought mine too small
I wish I had chosen the larger size. I have others now and (different brand) and love them. They take some getting used to thats for sure but once you start to trust them you can discover a whole new world of having you baby close and comfortable and you can have your hands free too!!
When chosing your size keep your height and bust size in mind. I am a 38DD (post prego) and 5'8''. I should've gotten the large.

Try it on first!
I went through 3 other slings before we tried this one. I am 5'2" and have a short torso. I have also been *ahem* well endowed in the chest area. The short torso and ample bossom made this sling impossible for me. The small / medium was too tight. I could barely get my daughter in and out at 4 months old. The large hung too low on me. The baby hung by my thighs and it put so much strain on my back that it made it impossible to wear her for longer than 10 minutes. Even in different positions, we couldn't find a way to make it work with either size. The hip carry with the small just dug into her little legs and made her cry. With the large, the hip carry didn't support her well enough. If you can find this in a store where you can try it on before buying, I would recommend it. The design is great - it's a pocket style which is very easy to manuever. Just be careful of the sizing on these!

not quite
The sizing is misleading - with only 2 choices, S/M or L, one would think it'd be obvious which should work. I'm only 5'1" and definitely not large, so I went with the S/M. But I could barely get the thing around myself, let alone squish my daughter into it! I tried at least 5 different times, and she hated it, and I could barely get her back out each time. I was too jaded to re-order a large, though it just may have worked better. I bought the infantino slingrider instead - at least I can get her in and out of it, and without a struggle or damage!

Check the Size before Buying
This sling has heavy material and seems to be well made. When I bought the sling, it was not clear about the sizing. I looked everywhere to figure out which size to buy. I could not find any information, so I had to assume the size was for the size of baby you were going to carry.

Once I got the sling, inside the instructor booklet it shows the sizing and it really means the size of the person wearing the sling - NOT the baby inside the sling.

Needless to say since I bought a Small/Medium it does not fit me as I am 5'10" but thin. It fits my daughter fine who is 5'1". When I say it does not fit me, I mean the sling is way too high up on my body and my arm feels uncomfortable squeezing into the area left.

I don't want to bother attempting to send it back since the cost of postage will pretty much make it not worth it since it is not an expensive product.
