The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Publishing Children’s Books, 3rd Edition

Best book for truly helpful advice on how to get a book published
I am a published author and own many books about how to get children's books published, this one is the one I use most. I refer to it often, I like the layout and it is easy to read and understand. If you are just starting out in the world of writing for children I strongly recommend this book, I learned a lot more from this book than any other I have read.

Publishing & children
Somehow I really expected something new. Well written but a rehash of pretty much the same old stuff. Writer's get tired of being scolded. Possibly worth the money-especially ifyou haven't read a lot of the other similar books.

Easy Easy Easy
I'm not done with this book but it is an easy and entertaining read. Much I already know so far but alot I don't know is presented so I understand and not bored. Hope it helps me to get published soon!

Good guide
This is very good. It has pointers on writing (well, they are simple, but he leads you to other good books with writing exercises), good books to look at, illustrating (this part is not too helpful to the illustrator), age groups, history and mergers of publishers, publishing, illustrator portfolios, contracts, agents, and more. It is very thick and stuffed. It is an easy, entertaining read.

The Mao Case:Qiu Xiaolong
Another excellent addition to the series starring Inspector Chen Cao. Not only well written but informative.I have added to my knowlege of Chinese customs and culture.
I am Looking forward to the next book in the series.
