Not a good costume for a Maltese
This costume is not as cute on the dog as it is in the picture. The ears aren't large enough...they don't really look like monkey ears. The tail has a very thin wire in it but it isn't sturdy enough to actually make the tail stand up like you would expect from a "poseable tail." The tail just drags along and depending on the kind of dog you have their tail will stick out the back and you won't see the monkey tail at all. The hood doesn't stay up very well and depending on how snug of a fit the costume is your dog might walk out of the legs. Plus, I wouldn't recommend this costume for dogs that aren't brown. The white of our Maltese against the brown looks odd.
