Similar to a real pet, the more attention you give Mio Pup, the more he'll appreciate you. Stroke his head, chin, or back and he'll walk toward you for more petting. A built-in microphone lets the purple pooch know when you are talking and he will reply with his own babbling or by playing musical tunes. The Mio Pup requires four AA batteries, which are included.

for kids
I bought this thinking it would be cool to have a robot dog, haha but this one is obviously for children, and I think they would even got bored with it quickly. Its cute, but only entertaining for about 5-10 minutes then gets annoying.

What a waste
My daughter played with this toy for about 15 minutes total before losing interest. What a failure.

Birthday present for 4 year old
I bought this for my 4 year old Grandaughter for her Birthday. She hasn't recieved it yet so I'm hoping she'll play with it daily. I think it's good for her age but I don't know if it would keep the interest of a 6 year old. It makes alot of cute noises and walks with the right commands. I am dissapointed it doesnt do as much as I thought it would. From what I can tell you would have to carry it around with you all day long since it tends to get bored. So I shut it off many times to get it to stop making sad sounds. Cute though and well made.

Gift for a child, fun for adults!
My niece wanted a purple robot dog for her birthday and sure enough, I found it on Amazon.com. The dog was much more solid and durable than I expected. Fun right out of the box!!

A Boy's Best Friend
I bought this pup for my grandson for Christmas. He loved it. I believe it will be beneficial in helping him learn how to be more loving and considerate. He also enjoys the music that it plays.

Four touch sensors let Mio Pup know when you are petting him (and, again, his eyes will tell you how much he likes it). Tickling him under his chin may cause him to strut, wag his tail, wiggle his ears, or even play music. When Mio Pups eyes tell you that hes hungry, you can "feed" him the included magnetic bone until his eye-con lets you know hes had his fill. Similar to a real pet, the more attention you give Mio Pup, the more hell appreciate you. Stroke his head, chin, or back and hell walk toward you for more petting. A built-in microphone lets the purple pooch know when you are talking and he will reply with his own babbling or by playing musical tunes. The Mio Pup requires four AA batteries, which are included.
