One of the best purchases ever made!
This was by far one of the best purchases I've ever made! I bought it when my first son was 9 months old and he's now 3 and still LOVES it! My second son who is 16 months old absolutely loves it too. It's so durable and hasn't once broken or fallen apart, despite lots of rough playing with it. I highly recommend this toy!

Never gets old!
This toy has been a popular item at our house. Even our little friends who come to play love it. We have had it for about 4 years, and the only thing thats wrong with it is it's out of batteries. Perfect toy for little ones!

The highlight of playdates...
All the kids just love this ride-on. From ages 1-4 it seems to be a hit. I have never used it for under 1 year, so I can't review that aspect. But my son is 2 1/2 now and just loves riding it and playing the different sounds/music. It doesn't get old with him! It has been very sturdy for us, he even uses it outside on the sidewalk. The shape sorter area (under the hood) is used to store sippy cups and other things he finds, that is a fun feature.

FUN, FUN! Much better than some other walkers!
I first purchased the Chicco Play N' Ride walker (based on all the glowing amazon reviews) for my now 13 mo old when she was about 11 months old. Just about two weeks ago, for Christmas, my brother sent us the Laugh & Learn Stride to Ride walker and BY FAR my daughter as well as my husband and I prefer this one to the Chicco one. This walker is SO MUCH more stable because of the way the child stands close to the front/middle of the walker. With the Chicco one she would try to pull herself up and it would just flip back on top of her (even when we would put some weights down under the seat as some on amazon suggested). Also I feel this walker allows for more natural movement than the Chicco walker, more room to move the legs forward without bumping into the toy. She likes the various buttons she can push and the 'trunk' where she loves to put items of all sizes and of course then take them back out. (what child this age doesn't love doing this) As others have noted, there isn't much resistence in the wheels. We got past that by only allowing her initially to use it on carpet, because then it is much slower. Once she got the hang of it though, she has no problem using it on tile and controlling the speed of it herself. With all walkers, I wish they would turn easier, but at least this one you can guide easier without it flipping over like the Chicco one does (again this is because of the tripod like stability of the wheels.) In general I highly recommend this walker.

Electronic part broke on the second day
The electronic parts (music, sound effects) broke on the second day of use. Other than that, my kids (3 years and 10 months) seem to enjoy playing with it. I had hoped it would open a little wider when in walker mode, as my daughter has to shorten her steps somewhat when holding the handle bar and using it as a walker.

Editorial Review:
This happy-looking car is a fun and versatile way to help younger children get up and get on the move. It's actually only a toy car in terms of its front end which features a smiling face. Behind the steering wheel, however, it's a basic ride-on, teaching young riders about cause and effect while improving their balance and gross motor skills. There's a yellow bar across the top of the dashboard for kids who need a little extra help holding on, or for kids who want to forgo the seat entirely and use it as a walker, as well as a steering wheel for more skilled motorists. The car features twelve tunes, including three sing-a-long songs, along with a horn (a human voice saying "beep!"), shape sorting blocks, and a voice that announces whether the rider is steering left or right. --Charlie Williams
