Made with colorful, durable plastic construction, the Scoot 'n Scoop holds of child's play--and up to 42 pounds. The seat and gravel guard both detach from the truck body and snap in to different positions for a push mode, walk mode, and ride-on mode. With the seat in the up position, kids can easily push and pull the truck, and watch when moving forward as shape blocks get picked up in the dump bed. When the seat is down, these blocks fit into corresponding shapes on the seat. And of course, kids can sit on and ride the truck with the handle up or the steering wheel on. The Revvin' Beepin' Wheel starts with a turn of the purple key in the ignition, making funny engine noises and realistic road vibrations that turn off on their own. There's also an orange clicking gearshift, an adjustable blue mirror, directional blink lights, and a green horn with four different honking sounds. Drivers-in-training can play with the wheel attached to the truck or separately.
Put to the Driver's Test
The Scoot 'n Scoop is great for a range of young children--and though it's marketed toward boys, little girls will have fun with this toy too! While kids can play for a long time in any one of the truck's play modes, they're stuck in each one without a parent's help in moving the wheel, seat, and gravel guard. Attaching the gravel guard and seat is easy, but pressing both buttons down and lifting up at the same time to remove either is a pain and may require an extra hand. Parents will also have to attach the real axle with the included screw assembly. It only takes a minute and a small screwdriver, but adults should be careful to keep the small parts away from the kids. Children can throw their own toys in the dump bed, but the Scoot 'n Scoop only picks up the three included shape blocks. Just as much fun to play with on its own, the Revvin' Beepin' Wheel uses three AA batteries, which come included with the wheel.

Has some issues
After reading the reviews for this toy on Amazon my wife and I bought it for our 11mo old son. Once we assembled it and he started playing problems started popping up. It seems durable, but time will tell.
Pros- Durable, low cost
Cons- The seat cant be removed by a small child, even I had trouble pressing in on the pins to remove it.
The frame of the truck sits so low that it get caught on the carpet making it hard to push.
The engine noise gets irritating after awhile

Fabulous Tonka Truck
I bought this toy for my grandson's first birthday. I wanted something that would be fun, education and movement oriented. This is a spectacular toy. At my grandson's 1st birthday party, we had 4 boys under the age of 1 1/2 years and the truck was fought over. However, once we showed them that you could put things in the storage compartment AND it would pick things up with the truck while riding it, the boys began letting each other ride while the other boys put things in front of the truck to pick up and the other toddlers would unload. What fun it was to watch these 4 little rascals play together. Spectacular toy!!

Dangerous ride-on
I hated this truck. My son fell off the back of it twice and hit his head. It's difficult to maneuver around the house and moving the seat is an absolute hassle. Don't buy this!!!

Ouch!
My grandson tries to play on this, and scoots across the floor on it, but rolls over his toes alot and it only goes in a straight line. So he is always lifting it up to turn. The space between front and back wheels is small, so when child scoots on it, he has to watch out for his toes constantly. My grandson sat on it and played with the ignition, horn and blinkers until just recently as it was too hard for him to operate. He is a normal 21 month size currently.
The seat is hard to change from sit to push. And you can hurt your fingers doing it.
Overall, I think this vehicle is cute and noises fun, but it just isn't too functional and a little damaging to toes and fingers.

It's not like a Tonka
This toy is cute and has the blocks to sort and all but it doesn't have turning wheels and therefore my son wouldn't even play with it. The steering wheel doesn't actually turn anything! I bought it for a present in August and I've already given it away. I was disappointed.
