My child has gone through two of these so far. First her aunty broke the wing when it landed, got her another one, then the switch on the 2nd one broke. This will be the last one I buy and only because I asked her what she really wanted for a surprise for being such a patient person and going to my recording session with me today. I got the other two at Ross at a discount... Ouch! I feel as if I am flushing 35 dollars down the drain. But if she gets a few days out of it, I suppose it paid for itself. They are extremely fun when they are working. Just treat it very kindly and it will last a while. When it does break, they are pretty to look at.

This product isn't durable at all. My daughter used in once and on the second use the switch just fell off in my hand. It was poorly designed for a child's fingers. The wand may be easy to use but the plug was difficult even for me and especially for my daughter. My daughter said it was fun but chose not to replace it with another flying fairy. She was too frustrated with it. She is over 6, which was the recommend age for a child to be over for this toy.

It is apparent for this toy to fly it needs to be light. However that makes it fragile as well, understandable. Frustrating, though, that no repair kit or parts can be ordered for the product, one little thing goes wrong and you have to buy a whole new one.
